Please join Wendy and Andrea Schoen for 5 days of handsewing bliss in Historic New Orleans. Working from a gorgeous antique baby dress, dripping with lace and traditional French handsewing techniques such as Roll and Whip, Fabric to Entredeux, Lace to Lade, Lace to Fabric, Folded Tucks, and many many more.
Wendy has recreated this precious Size 2 baby dress with traditional laces, and Swiss Batiste. The original dress was created over a hundred years by a loving nanny, nun or close relative for a special little girl. We can’t recreate it exactly because the Irish Crochet lace is completely unique and contains hours and hours of work. But we promise you won’t be disappointed in Wendy’s material choices.
Spaces are very limited so don’t waste a moment. We are accepting a waiting list.
