Floche is a luxury Egyptian cotton thread imported from Portugal. It is 5-ply and has a soft hand which results in a smoother spread when working embroideries such as padded satin stitch, shadow work, and all laid hand embroidery stitches. Floche is about one and a half times thicker than stranded cotton floss and is not separable. Working with Floche requires a round eye needle, such as a sharp or between. The entire collection, consisting of both DMC and Anchor colors, includes 99 colors of multi-yard skeins consisting of 52 strands, each 24″ long.
